Professional Registration
I am registered as a psychologist with the NIP (Dutch Institute of Psychologists) and work in accordance with the NIP Code of Professional Ethics. This code sets out the standards of professional conduct, confidentiality, and integrity that govern my practice.
Payment and Reimbursement
Therapy is offered on a private-pay basis and is not covered under the Dutch health insurance system.
Depending on your Dutch supplementary health insurance (aanvullende verzekering), partial reimbursement may be possible in some cases. As this varies between insurers and policies, it is recommended to check this directly with your insurance provider.
Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint or concern regarding my professional conduct or our work together, I kindly ask you to first discuss this with me directly. I take all feedback seriously and aim to address concerns in a careful and constructive manner.
If this does not lead to a satisfactory resolution, you may submit a complaint via the NIP complaints procedure. I am registered with this procedure, which provides access to an independent complaints officer (klachtenfunctionaris) and, where applicable, an independent disputes committee (geschillencommissie).
